Lots of new exciting thinks we are working on this week:
New Mobility Section
Mobility is an important part of keeping your body healthy as it improves muscle health, range of motion and avoids injury and alleviating the need for an athlete to try and compensate for poor range of movement. It is also vital in helping joint movement and health.
We will strive to work on some of this at the gym, but where sometimes this is not possible especially with time constraints with the current COVID measures - we are providing our members with videos that our members can go back to as and when needed. So if you have a specific area (Tigh shoulders / Hamstrings / Ankles) we aim to have these organised in sections targeting those areas - so you can work on this in your own time.
There will be more added on a weekly basis to this section.
New Members' Update
We have added a blog page called updates in the Members' only section of the website - We will be sharing any posts (like this one on our social media groups etc) - but for any of you who might not use social media looking to know what is new, what events are on etc... We will be sharing them right here on this Page.
We will also communicate in the gym of course via notice boards...

We are exited to add some different classes to the timetable to offer more variety and help everyone find what they are looking for in their training: whether you are after more strength or more fitness there will be a class for you.
Our New Training Programs:
XFFIT FUNCTIONAL FITNESS - is our take on high intensity training, and it doesn't get any better!
The XFFIT Functional Fitness program offers the opportunity to gain exposure to the widest degree of complexity, loading and variance.
In Our XFFIT Functional Fitness program, all movements, loads and time domains are in fair game.
Workouts can last anywhere from less than 10 minutes to 30+ minutes, but most workouts last anywhere between 10-25 minutes.
Workouts are highly varied in duration, format and type.
Each session will be different, and you need to be ready for anything!
XFFIT Functional Fittness is perfect for anyone interested in high intensity training and looking to build a well-rounded brand of fitness. The workouts can be challenging, but all workouts can be scaled for any ability level whether newer or more advanced athletes.
This will last 60mins and will be at 17:20 to 18:20 (to allow for cleaning and change over) and at 19:30 to 20:30 (except Wednesday when the Bootcamp is on) and 6am / 9:30am on week days - Sat 9:30
XFFIT STRENGHT AND CONDITIONING - Offers daily strength and skill training along with a fun and effective metcon-style workout. Each class is 45 minuets long.
XFFIT Strength and Conditioning incorporates daily strength based movements to build a solid foundation.
The movements and workouts in this program focus squarely on building a strong base and providing daily exposure to strength training.
In XFFIT Strength and Conditioning you will learn how to squat, press, pull and clean through daily strength progressions. You will also gain exposure to common bodyweight, gymnastic and monostructural movements.
If you are newer to this style of training, this program is a fantastic introduction to complexity, loading and variance. If you are more advanced this program helps to develop mechanics, consistency, and intensity in foundational strength and moderately complex movements.
This will last 45mins and will be at 18:30 to 19:15 (to allow for cleaning and change over) (except Mondays when the Bootcamp is on) and Sat 10:45am.
XFFIT BOOTCAMP - offers a fun and effective group training session lasting 45 minutes, suitable for any level of fitness.
The workouts are fun and varied and great for losing weight, toning and getting fit.
All movements are light in weight and do not include any high skilled movements. The sessions can be indoors and outdoors (all weather dependent).
This is a 45min class and will be on Monday @ 18:30, Wednesday @ 19:30 and Saturday @ 8:30
